The E.S. Boulos Company, headquartered in Westbrook, Maine, was acquired by Northeast Utilities Enterprises, Inc. (NUEI) in 2001. As one of the oldest, largest and most experienced contractors in Northern New England, E.S. The E.S. Boulos Company built its reputation in the Maine pulp and paper industry where our ability to perform complex projects in tight timeframes became an industry standard. As industry needs started to change so did our company. E.S. Boulos has performed high voltage work in the paper mills and for utility and merchant power plants. Our experience has run the gamut from wood chip fired plants to nuclear facilities. We have in recent years developed a high level of experience in utility construction

At the same time, E.S. Boulos was broadening its commercial project portfolio to include hospital, advanced technology, office and educational facilities. The increasing technological advances led to the creation of ESB's Telecommunications Division. The combination of experienced electrical crews and highly-trained tel/data technicians makes E.S. Boulos a single source provider for today's complex projects.

E.S. Boulos utilizes the latest construction techniques and equipment and state-of-the-art custom software systems for accounting and project management. Our estimating is completed using Accu-Bid software technology. Project Management and Accounting is executed using Sage Timberline's Office Suite, Prima Vera Expedition or Microsoft Scheduling software.

The E.S. Boulos Company is based in Westbrook, Maine where our Commercial Group and Telecommunications/Integrated Building Technology Division operate out of our 10,000SF main office and ware house. Our Utilities Group is located in Lewiston, Maine along with our newly opened Bloomfield, CT branch office. All offices are fully staffed with complete estimating and project management capability. E.S. Boulos is a long-standing member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

E.S. Boulos offers comprehensive design/build services for both high and medium voltage electrical projects. We have completed a number of design/build high voltage substation projects through joint ventures with leading utility engineering firms throughout New England. E.S. Boulos has also completed many design/build projects for institutional and commercial customers.

E.S. Boulos has operated a 5000 SF Panel Fabrication shop since 2002. While building panels in our Lewiston facility for a number of years we have gone to the next level of manufacturing. ESB's experience brings the ability to manufacture panels in a controlled environment using NECA and IBEW qualified technicians. ESB also provides panel installation in the field after manufacture if required by the customer. Some of our clients include: CMP, PSNH, CL&P, N-Star, Hutamacki, Mead Paper and Groveton Paper.
